Fees and Cancellations

Funding & Rebates


NDIS Participants


We follow the current NDIS Pricing Arrangements and offer services to participants who are:

  • Self-managed (you pay invoices directly and claim back through NDIS)
  • Plan-managed (your plan manager pays invoices on your behalf)

Please note: We are not registered to provide services to NDIA-managed participants at this time.


Medicare & Private Health


You may be eligible for rebates through Medicare (e.g. with a valid care plan from your GP) or through your private health fund, depending on your level of cover. Please check with your provider for details.

Service Fees

Speech Pathologist: $193.99 per hour


Includes 50 minutes of therapy and 10 minutes for session notes and administration.


Therapy Assistant: $86.79 per hour


Therapy Assistants deliver programs under the guidance of a qualified speech pathologist. An initial session with a speech pathologist is required before working with an assistant. Speech Pathologist planning time for therapy assistants is billable time - usually ½ to 1 hour every 6-8 therapy sessions.


All fees are reviewed annually on July 1.


**Please note that the Therapy Assistants we work with 

function as their own businesses and will charge for their own time.**

Other Charges

The following services are billed at the same hourly rate as therapy:

  • Report writing including working through assessment results
  • Communication with other professionals (e.g. emails, phone calls)
  • Therapy planning beyond general planning time, for example plans for therapy assistants, or where more research and planning is required for a specific individual’s needs
  • Development of customised resources
  • Participation in meetings with schools, support coordinators, or other stakeholders

Reports

Reports are charged at the standard therapy rate. This includes time to score assessments, interpret results, and prepare recommendations.

Please provide at least three weeks' notice for any report request. This helps us ensure there’s enough time to complete a thorough and helpful report, especially if it’s needed for NDIS reviews or school support.

Travel Charges

Where sessions are held at community settings including childcare centres, schools, or homes, we will charge a travel fee to and from our offices, up to a maximum of half an hour each way. If multiple clients are seen at a location, travel costs will be split evenly between them.

Travel time is billed at half the usual hourly rate, and a per-kilometre fee will also apply.
